I was able to attend the book launching today of “Cebu - Pride of Place,” a pictorial book highlighting the Province of Cebu. The event was attended by the President of the Philippines, Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo who was the guest of honor. This was my first time to see President Arroyo in person, so I was quite honored to be a guest.
The books photographs were taken by E. Billy Mondonedo in association with the Arts Council of Cebu Foundation, Inc. The book can be purchased locally for around 3,500 Philippine Pesos.
